Noteworthy News

Award Ho! - Last week Back 40 Studios was happy to learn that one of the albums that we recorded in our facility has earned a Best Album of the Year Award.  Congratulations go out to Alex Dormont and Tony Harrison for their Tony Harrison & Hot Texas CD, SWINGIN' BIG, which won "Best Western Swing Album of the Year" at the Academy of Western Artists Awards Ceremony held in Ft. Worth in January.  All tracks were recorded and mixed here at Back 40 Studios and we are proud to be a part of the first-class project which featured some of the best session players in the State of Texas.

Awards Nominations! - HUGE congratulations go out to our good pals, the Eli Young Band, who have been nominated for three (that's 3, baby!!!) ACM Awards for: "Best Vocal Group of the Year", "Best Single of the Year" for "Crazy Girl" and "Best Song of the Year" for "Crazy Girl".  The Academy of Country Music awards ceremonies will be held this year in Las Vegas, on Sunday April 1st, and will be televised on CBS at 8pm ET.  GOOD LUCK GUYS!!

On behalf of myself, Brandon, Ryan, Jon and Hunter, we hope that this newsletter finds you healthy and happy.  As usual, much thanks to all who've purchased Truth Trust & Other Ghosts and First Things First.  And thank you, everyone,  for your continued support of our music.

~Jim
